Interested in booking an event at 1230 State? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions.


Can I rent the venue, but have another company cater the food?  

Unfortunately, no. We pride ourselves on our exceptional catering services, and we really don’t want you to miss out on the full experience of our venue, delicious food, and excellent staffing service. Trust us, once you try our food, you’ll understand what we mean.

Is there a minimum food and beverage purchase? 

Yes! Your minimum food and beverage purchase will be based on the date and time of your event. We have many options to work with your guest list and budget.

Can I make last-minute adjustments to my event if I change my mind about something? 

Yes! We do our best to accommodate our guests and know that planning an event can be stressful. Our policy requires all changes to be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the final event.

Do you accommodate dietary needs? 
Definitely! We are happy to work with you to meet your dietary needs, and we pride ourselves on being one of the few catering companies that feature gluten-free menu items. Please contact us to discuss accommodations.

Where can my guests park? 

There is plenty of street parking in the area for a small fee (free on the weekends.) Downtown Salem has free parkades within walking distance. For more information, visit City of Salem's website.

Can I book a rehearsal date alongside my wedding date? 

Yes! We can accommodate additional dates, if necessary, depending on availability. We can even cater your rehearsal dinner for an additional fee.
